Activities At Georgian Bay Fishing Camp

Besides fishing, we offer the following activities:

Historical Sites - The French River Area was once supported large lumber mills and commercial fishing communities. There are a number of sites that can be explored.

Our wilderness is particularly interesting to explore as the shore line is a intricate maze of islands, shoals, bays and inlets. Much of the shore line is bald rock making walking along the shore very interesting. Many of the small bays and inlets are best fished from the shore. Our fishng story provides more photos of the original historical sites.

Kayaking Canoeing

Click To Enlarge The hundreds of Islands, shoals bays and inlets provide so much protected water that the whole family can paddle all day for a week or even two weeks and never paddle the same waters twice. The scenery is spectacular, the area is a complete wilderness. Compared to paddling the shores of an ordinary lake, this part of Georgian Bay is heaven sent and cannot be compared.
